Tax Experts: Help Customers with Last Minute Filing and Earn More with Peak Time

According to the Internal Revenue Service, nearly 13% of taxpayers put off filing until the week of the deadline. And with the April 17 deadline less than a week away, we are expecting our biggest days of Tax questions yet and if that isn't enough, we're running Peak Time in the Tax categories from now until next Tuesday!

Help give our Tax customers maximize their returns and have peace of mind. And to provide even more value to customers and help you earn more, don't forget to offer premium services such as phone calls to walk customers through their filing or offer your own customer Tax preparation package.

Quick and Easy Tip: Don't Give Up After the First Answer

You may know the exact cause and answer to a customer's question but you can't guarantee that the answer will actually solve the problem or if the customer followed your directions correctly. In most categories, the process of solving a problem requires trying multiple troubleshooting answers to (1) diagnose the problem (2) solve the problem. If a customer gets upset when the first answer didn't work, let the customer know that you needed to try that first answer in order to eliminate possible causes to the problem and move on to the next answer.

At the same time, do remember that per Expert Policy, you MUST mark a response as an answer if you've began to  provide a solution to the problem. Bonus Tip: Don't forget to mark your answers as answers so customers can give you a 5-star after you've answered their question.
