We're excited to introduce a new feature in the Computer categories where customers will have the option to request secure remote assistance from Experts. With Auto Secure Remote Assistance, we do the asking for you so you can focus on helping customers.
Secure Remote Assistance generates over $40,000 in requests each month. Help us meet customer demand while you earn more for doing what you already do best: help customers with their Computer problems.
What you need to know:
- Only questions in Computer categories will get the Auto Secure Remote Assistance offer. Questions in all other categories, such as electronics, will continue to get the Auto Phone Call offer.
- Our built-in phone call feature is currently NOT available with Auto Secure Remote Assistance.
- If you are unable to fulfill an Auto Secure Remote Assistance request or it expires after 5 minutes, the request will open up to other Experts in the same category.
- Available requests can be found through email notifications and on the Request Center.
What is Secure Remote Assistance?
Secure Remote Assistance is a re-brand of Remote Desktop. A recent usability test with customers revealed that they understand the term Secure Remote Assistance better than Remote Desktop, and therefore, more likely to accept it as a service.
You will notice a few places on the site where we've made the name change, but rest assured, nothing about this rebrand changes your workflow on JustAnswer or how you can earn more by fulfilling premium services.
