Question from the Expert Community
“I do not own a Windows machine. I have used OS X for over 20 years. Does this mean I will not be able to answer questions on PQA?” -Philip Simmons, JA Legal Expert since 2008
Earlier this week, we published an FAQ of the PQA and two of the topics we emphasized were system requirements and browser compatibility. Philip followed up with a great question about PQA’s compatibility with Apple operating system, so we’d like to expand the answer a bit further.
Although PQA is optimized for Windows, it should work fine on desktops and laptops running Apple OS with Chrome or Firefox. We’ve found that most PQA compatibility issues are more about browsers than device specifications. Safari and Internet Explorer are not compatible with PQA. So, whether you’re using Windows or Apple OS, we strongly recommend that you access PQA on Chrome or Firefox to avoid disruptions in your workflow.
