Quick and Easy Tip: Check "Answer" to Get Rated!

We are seeing an increase in Experts not checking the Answer box until they are completely finished, and then even only when the customer indicates satisfaction. Per the Expert Agreement, Answers must be posted as Answers, and Experts cannot disable rating scales to avoid negative ratings. We understand the desire to want to avoid those negatives, but everyone gets them at some point, and we cannot artificially prevent them in this way. 

It's in the Expert's best interest to use the Answer checkbox because customers cannot rate if you don't. Sometimes they attempt to rate, it doesn't go through, so they just get a refund. Then the deposit is not available for an NCR either. Customers also cannot see and reply to your answer if they don't have a deposit. So if there are any payment issues, they can be caught early on before you've invested too much time. If you post your answers as IRs, this isn't caught by the system, and then they have no motivation to resolve their payment issue later if they've already read your answers for free. 

 
The Stat Bar is Back!

After some updates based on your feedback, we're excited to relaunch the stat bar on the Request Center! The stat bar shows month-to-date data on your earnings, average rating, and question volume. The stat bar is a great source of info on how you're doing on JustAnswer this month. When you want to hide the stat bar, hover your mouse over the bar and click on "Hide Stats."

Note: The stat bar shows your activity in the current month. The data on My Dashboard is a running 4-week average.

JustAmazing Experience
Please join us in congratulating this week's JustAmazing Experience recipient: Dr. Kara (KMJ90)! A JustAnswer customer came to JustAnswer concerned about Woolly, her Australian labradoodle, who ate some espresso beans. Dr. Kara gave lengthy responses with information on what the customer should do and what she needs to know. Dr. Kara continued to follow up with the customer until Woolly was okay. At the end of the exchange, the customer had this to say about her experience:

"Dr. Kara was helpful and reassuring when our dog ate life threatening chocolate covered coffee beans. He is ok tonight, thanks to Dr. Kara. Plus she gave good advice on his anxiety when home alone."
