Every Friday, the Expert Ops team will recap the latest enhancements, contributions from the Expert community, highlight the week's outstanding Experts, and preview the week ahead.
As Hurricane Irma continues to make its way to south Florida and the eastern coast, we want to send our thoughts to everyone in the Expert community who are impacted by the storm. We hope that you and your family stay safe.
Can't Miss Updates
New PS services folder for Tech Experts: We've added a new folder to the left-nav of the Request Center to separate Auto Premium Service requests from Q&A. This view is currently only available for Tech Experts but we plan to roll it out to other Experts soon. Click here to learn more >>
Reminder to follow up after your greeting: We encourage all Experts to post a greeting first. We have found that it's a much better customer experience. However, it is site policy to allow an Expert to lock and post their follow up immediately after posting a greeting, and those Experts who have posted a greeting should not post anywhere else until they have followed up with a legitimate IR or answer. Please be sure not to lock out the Expert who has posted their greeting, and instead give them a bit of time to relock and post a follow up. If the first Expert should post a greeting, but not come back after several minutes, you're welcome to lock it and start a conversation with the customer.
Help the Victims of Hurricane Harvey
To support the relief effort after the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, JustAnswer will be donating to Direct Relief. Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and 70 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies. Our donation will go to health services and much-needed medications to those in the most urgent need of them. Most importantly: 100% of donations for Hurricane Harvey will be used exclusively for that effort. If you'd like to join us, click on the link above.
Experts in the News
A few months ago, we began collaborating with Experts to help amplify awareness about the range of expertise available through JustAnswer. Since then, we've already seen the fruit of that labor and we're excited to these media hits with you. Here are a few recent Experts in the News: Interested in helping grow the JustAnswer brand and drive more customers to the site? Below are currently available requests:
  • Medical: We are looking for physicians who would be willing to be interviewed about flu vaccines
  • OB/GYNs: We are looking for OB/GYNs who can discuss what pregnant women (or people planning to get pregnant) need to know about getting a flu vaccine
  • OB/GYNs: We are looking for an OB/GYN to weigh in on whether prenatal fitness is effective and why it is/isn't worth pursuing
JustAmazing Experience

Please join us in congratulating this week's JustAmazing Experience recipient: Hank (Hank_F)! Recently, John helped a customer with an overheating issue with a generator. The customer is located in central Florida and needed to repair his generator before the storm. Hank gave the customer clear and easy to understand instructions. At the end of the exchange, the customer had this to say about his experience:

"Hank, I can't thank you enough. The sensor was bad, I replaced it, and it works great.I'm in central Florida and Hurricane Irma will be here Sunday. You are a lifesaver, Thanks."
